Conflict Analysis Afghanistan 2005

The situation in Afghanistan in 2005 was characterized by substantial violent conflicts, insurgencies and challenges regarding political and social as well as security matters, and could not have been described as “post-conflict”. It was therefore necessary to consider aid and other interventions based on these developments taking place in the country, and to make recommendations for the future development agenda of Afghanistan based on these understandings.
